Cody FergusonAssistant Professor
Cody Ferguson is Assistant Professor of Digital and Public History at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. His work examines the history of the environmental movement and stresses the connections between citizen participation in environmental decision-making and social, economic, and environmental justice.
Ferguson is the author of This is Our Land: Grassroots Environmentalism in the Late Twentieth Century forthcoming from Rutgers University Press. He also leads and contributes to several digital humanities projects including “Stories of the Reach” (www.reachstories.org) in Washington State, “Salt River Stories” (www.salstriverstories.org) in Arizona, and is co-principal investigator for a National Endowment for the Humanities-funded public project entitled “Nature, History, and Culture at the Nation’s Edge.”
