Ruth Byrne

Professor of Cognitive Science and fellow of Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in the School of Psychology and Deputy Director of the Institute of Neuroscience, her work focuses on the cognitive science of human thinking, including experimental and computational investigations of reasoning and imaginative thought. Ruth is a former Vice Provost of TCD, past Head of the School of Psychology, and a member of the Royal Irish Academy.
