Andrew Morgan

PhD candidate in philosophy and researcher for the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia. His research primarily focuses on the areas of overlap between ethics, psychology, and philosophy of language – especially theories of moral judgment, deliberation, and education. His dissertation offers a new speech act approach to hybrid metanormative theory. He is also working on projects in environmental ethics, metaphysics of science, and the history of philosophy.
