Marisa Ronan

Dr. Ronan’s research interests centre on the relationship between religion and the environment and how systems of faith impact perceptions of climate change, human agency and scientific intervention. She has a particular interest in American Evangelicalism, apocalypticism, and ecotheology. She developed her research area in American Studies, exploring an intellectual and literary history of American Evangelicalism as part of herdoctoral and postdoctoral work. She is also engaged in Humanities research policy, Public Humanities and STEAM (STEM+Art) projects.
