Tom Ford

Australian Postdoctoral Fellow

Educated at Dickson College and ANU, Thomas H. Ford worked as a publications editor at the National Library of Australia before completing a PhD in English literature at the University of Chicago in 2007. He has since taught literary studies at a number of universities in Chicago and Melbourne and worked as a senior policy officer in education policy at Monash University, where he is also an associate in the research units in literature and social aesthetics. Thomas joined the Humanities Research Centre in 2011 as an ARC Australian Postdoctoral Fellow to undertake the project ‘Nineteenth-Century Climate Change: Atmosphere and Culture in Romanticism.’
