Pacific Islander Eco-Literature
Oceania
For the past ten years, work in this area has sought to foster and develop Pacific Islander Eco-Literature.
This includes developing courses and curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate level on Pacific “eco-poetics”; the curation of symposia, conferences, and reading focusing on the environmental humanities; the editing and publishing of an anthology, Indigenous Pacific Islander Eco-Literatures (2022); and the creation of numerous community engaged, youth, and public environmental humanities events.
