European Observatory
The European Observatory seeks new insights into the human condition as it relates to global climate change, to explore its root problems and possible solutions.
The New Human Condition
The European Observatory of the New Human Condition project is exploring human perception and agency in relation to global climate change. We seek to understand why humans in the face of non-imminent, but incipient dangers choose to act as we do, and how we may be able to change our behaviors and directions.
Human Responses towards Global Climate Change
The European Observatory is inviting internationally recognized academics, senior corporate executives and other stakeholders to engage in dialogue and action to address human responses towards global climate change at individual, institutional and social levels.
Global Research Networks
The Oceans Past Initiative is a global research network for marine historical research. The goal is to enhance knowledge and understanding of how the diversity, distribution and abundance of marine life in the world’s oceans has changed over the long term to better indicate future changes and possibilities.
