Liron Arieli’s work and academic interests center on equity-centered sustainability, interdisciplinary environmental research, and community-engaged approaches to addressing global environmental challenges. She is particularly interested in how the environmental humanities can bridge research, policy, and place-based knowledge through collaborative and justice-oriented frameworks. She serves as the Communications Coordinator for the UNESCO BRIDGES Flagship and the Create the Change grant initiative at Arizona State University. Arieli is a master’s student in Urban and Environmental Planning at Arizona State University and is pursuing a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She earned a B.A. in Sustainability with a minor in Political Science from ASU in 2024.
